Field of Teaching: »Interaction Design in Industrial Design«
Interaction design—also known as human-centered design or UX design—can have a positive impact on our daily lives, particularly when it comes to interacting with artificial intelligence. The course “Interaction Design in Industrial Design” focuses on shaping the communication between people and products, whether digital or analog. While industrial designers typically design physical artifacts, interaction designers determine how products behave and how they can be operated—with the goal of creating an intuitive, pleasant, and meaningful user experience that minimizes operational errors. The focus is on user needs as well as technical and aesthetic requirements.
