Field of Teaching: »Photography«
How can spaces be constructed through images—and how can these images be imbued with meaning? The course “Photography: Form and Space,” a central component of the “Photography” program, focuses on the exploration of spatial representations in the photographic image. Students explore the transitions between landscape and architecture, between observation and construction, and between perception and form. The primary focus is on developing conceptual strategies that understand space as a narrative and aesthetic element. The intensive engagement with analog photography trains conscious seeing and fosters a deep understanding of the connection between observation and creative work.
