Field of Teaching: »Industrial Design«
Industrial designers strive to understand what will be important to the users of tomorrow. Whether it’s everyday objects, vehicles, or capital goods—understanding the needs of target groups and thoroughly examining current technological and environmental developments are essential for the design of mass-produced products. In education, therefore, the psychology of perception, ergonomics, and economic factors also play an important role. As an interdisciplinary field, industrial design brings together diverse interests to develop functional and aesthetic solutions.
